Choosing session pack
Do I need a particular level of English?
Yes ā a minimum intermediate level of English. This means you can interact in English in areas that are familiar to you.
How many Sessions should I do?
It depends on your goals. More sessions means more progress. But remember you can start small, and add more sessions later.
Can I prepare any other language apart from English?
Just English, for now!
How will I improve?
This is a three-step process to make the jump from being a student of English to being a true speaker of English. First, you practice. You use every minute to build up your skills in speaking fluently, confidently, accurately and naturally. Second, you receive individual feedback and action points. This is key to identifying your personal strengths and weaknesses, because every person is different. Third, you implement your feedback and action points into your speaking, through expert guidance and support. The result is that you speak English quickly, precisely, and actively.

How do I access the student log-in?
FIRST TIME:
- Open the first email you received from Talktips after you purchased your first session.Ā
- Click on student log-in.Ā
- Create a password.Ā

NEXT TIMEĀ
- Click on the lightning icon on the top right of talktips.sessions.tv website.
- Your email address is your username. Enter your password. If you forgot your password, click āforgot passwordā and create a new one.Ā Ā

HOW TO BOOK
How do I book my first session?
1. Select your session pack or a single session.
Single session in blue and pack deals on top.
2. Schedule the best time for you in the calendar. For the session packs, youāll be asked to book at least the first Session; you can book the other Sessions by clicking “Add more Appointments” after booking the first one, or whenever you like using your Student Log-in.

3. Pay easily using your credit card or paypal
4. Once your booking is made youāll receive a confirmation email.
How do I book my following sessions?
Through the student-log in.
How far in advance can I book?
You can normally book 1 month in advance. Availability depends on how busy the month is and how quickly spaces fill up!
How to reschedule & cancel
WHAT'S YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
You may reschedule or cancel sessions up to 24 hours in advance. Changes made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged.

What do I prepare before the first session?
Please specify your goals, via the confirmation email.
CONNECTING TO THE SESSION
Where are the sessions?
The sessions are held through virtual meetings via Zoom or Google Meet.
How do I connect?
From your student log-in. You will also receive an email on the same day with the links to connect.
Do I need to install any video conference software?
In most cases, it wonāt be required. We use Google Meet and Zoom for the Sessions.
What if I have technological problems?
If there is an unexpected issue with your technology, we will try to deliver your session to the best of our ability. Itās recommended to do your session in a quiet place without any distractions, with good WIFI connection and decent audio quality.
DURING THE SESSION
How long is a session?
1 hour and 20 minutes per Session. We value each minute of your time, which is why the session is structured to best take advantage of your training. A 10 minute warm up, 1 hour of focused practice, and 10 minutes at the end to make sure you understand your feedback perfectly and can solve any other doubts you might have. The perfect formula!
What will I practice in the sessions?
The most useful areas based on your individual goals. Remember to specify your goals before your first session, via the confirmation email!
Should I write notes?
You receive written feedback of the session with all the learning points, so itās not necessary.
What feedback will I receive?
Taking into account your personal goals for using English, you will receive feedback and advice on your English sentence construction, fluency, expressions, vocabulary, register, pronunciation and intonation - and how to use this best to your advantage in your professional context. You will receive feedback and action points verbally during the session, and in writing after the session via email.

PAYMENTS
Is it safe to pay?
Yes, of course! For the One-to-One Sessions we use the payment platform Stripe and PayPal. With Stripe, you can pay easily by card, no account necessary. PayPal requires an account.
